Rural Operations (Cert II/III)
Leading the Future of Agriculture
The Rural Operations program provides students with practical skills for modern agricultural industries, combining livestock management, machinery operation and sustainable land practices. Through nationally recognised training, boys develop the confidence and technical capability required across agribusiness, land management and primary production. The course offers a direct pathway into rural careers, further training and industry opportunities.
Senior Years (Year 11-12)
From the Farm to Industry
This two-year pathway develops practical expertise through authentic agricultural experiences, from livestock handling and machinery operation to biosecurity and land management.
Boys gain hands-on experience with tractors, production systems, animal welfare and sustainable practices while completing industry-based assessments. Through practical demonstrations, field activities and workplace skills, students build the knowledge and confidence needed for careers in agriculture.
