Boarding Family
Meet Our Team
Our Nudgee College boarding team is committed to providing a supportive, structured, and nurturing environment where every boy can thrive.
The overall program is led by our Dean of Boarding, working alongside a dedicated team of educators and support staff who ensure that our boarders feel at home from their very first day.

Our staffing structure is tailored to the needs of each age group:
Junior Boarding House: Overseen by our Director of Boarding, the Junior team includes a dedicated Head of Year 7, Head of Year 8, and a House Mum, all focused on providing a smooth transition into boarding life.
Senior Boarding Houses: Our senior students are supported by a Head of Boarding House, two Assistant Heads of Boarding House, and a House Mum, providing guidance and mentorship through their final years.
Boarding Supervisors: In every House, our team includes rostered Boarding Supervisors - a diverse group of Old Boys, university students, gap students, and teachers - who foster a strong sense of community and connection every day.
Overnight Supervisor: Our Boarding Houses are supervised overnight by a staff member who is awake and active throughout the night. This ensures the safety, wellbeing and security of our boarding students, as well as providing important care to those who wake up and are unwell or homesick overnight.
Extended Care Network: Beyond the boarding houses, every boy is surrounded by a comprehensive web of support. From School Psychologists and Nurses to our Recreation and Academic Coordinators, Catering and Laundry teams, Coaches, Teachers, and day school House Deans, we live by the belief that it truly 'takes a village'.
