Day Student
Entry Years
Year 5: 150 positions
Year 5 is the main intake for Day students, with 150 positions available. Students in Year 5 and 6 experience the start of the Nudgee College education in our Junior School, setting them up for a seamless transition into high school.
Students in the Junior School have their own space on our main campus, with access to all of the facilities and co-curricular and sporting opportunities that Nudgee College offers.
Year 7: 35 positions
Year 7 is a smaller intake for Day Students, with 35 positions available, as the other half of the new Year 7 cohort will be boarders. Year 7 marks the start of the high school journey. All Year 7 students, regardless of whether they are new to Nudgee or have come through our Junior School, begin Year 7 with an Orientation and transition into the high school experience.
Non-intake/Waitlisted Entry: Subject to availability
Day student applications are accepted for year levels outside of these intake years, as waitlisted applications. They are considered closer to the year of commencement if vacancies become available.
Please note waitlisted applications may be offered positions to commence in Term 1, 2, 3 and 4 depending on when vacancies occur.

The closing date for Stage 2 forms has now passed. All applications will be reviewed by the Principal to determine who will progress to the interview stage. If you did not submit your application before the closing date, please complete the form as soon as possible to join the waitlist.
Invitation to interview: Tuesday, 14 July 2026
Enrolment interview times released to applicants successful in progressing to this stage.
Interviews conducted: Monday 27, Tuesday 28, and Wednesday, 29 July 2026
Enrolment interviews held with members of the College Leadership Team and Junior School Staff. Please ensure you are available on these dates as the opportunity for alternative interview times will only be available for overseas or regional/interstate families.
Following interviews, all applications will be reviewed by Mr Thomson.
Offers sent: Week commencing Monday, 14 September 2026
Week commencing Monday 14 September (last week of Term 3) - letters of offer / waitlist / decline from the Principal will be sent via email.
These dates are in line with the Catholic School Agreement.
Year 7, 2030
Application process will open in November 2026.

Boarding Student
Entry Years
Main Intake: Year 7 - 40 positions
Year 7 is our main intake for boarding, with a unique 40 Year 7 positions available. Our junior boarding house consists of Year 7 and Year 8 students (80 boarders total). This gives two years in their full cohort before entry into one of the senior boarding houses from Year 9.
Second Intake: Year 9 - 20 positions
Year 9 is our second boarding intake, with 20 positions available. Year 9 is the start of the senior boarding journey and will join one of the three senior boarding houses. Year 9 is also a pivotal year in the Nudgee College experience, with the Immersion program occurring at the end of Term 3.
