Scott has served as Principal of St Joseph’s Nudgee College since 2024, bringing a deep commitment to Catholic education and the holistic development of young people. A devoted Catholic, husband, and father of four, Scott views faith, family, and community as central to his leadership. He has built a career grounded in authenticity, service, and a passion for education. As Principal, Scott is dedicated to helping young men achieve their potential across all aspects of life while strengthening the Catholic and Edmund Rice traditions that define the Nudgee community.

Stephen arrived at Nudgee College in 2005 as a Senior Study of Religion Teacher and has served in several roles, including House Dean, Head of Boarding House, Director of Boarding, and Dean of Mission and Identity, before taking up the Deputy Principal position at the start of 2024. Before coming to Nudgee College, Stephen was Assistant Principal, Religious Education and Head of Campus at St John's College in Darwin for 10 years. He also worked for several years with MSC Education at Chevalier College, Bowral, and with the MSC Retreat Team.

Jenny joined Nudgee College in 2022 as Director of Finance before becoming Dean of Operations in 2023. As a Chartered Accountant with over two decades of financial experience, Jenny has worked across a diverse range of industries, from large corporates like PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), General Electric, and Macquarie Bank, to the vibrant cultural sector at the Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa) and the Art Gallery of NSW. Today, she uses that experience to oversee day-to-day operations at Nudgee College, with a strong focus on long-term financial sustainability.

James joined Nudgee College as Dean of Students in 2026. As an experienced educational leader specialising in boys’ education, he leads the strategic direction of student wellbeing, pastoral care, and holistic formation. He also brings expertise in positive behaviour frameworks, mental health initiatives, and restorative practices. Before joining Nudgee College, he served as Director of Student Wellbeing at a prominent Sydney school, leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing evidence-based wellbeing programs. A recognised contributor to the field of adolescent wellbeing, he has presented nationally and internationally and has been featured prominently in Teacher Magazine and The Educator.

Suzie commenced her role as Dean of Learning and Teaching at Nudgee College in 2024, leading the College’s curriculum, pedagogy, and academic strategy. With over 20 years of experience in education, she has held senior leadership roles across a range of settings. Suzie is widely recognised for her expertise in curriculum design, including her work with Brisbane Catholic Education during the transition to the new QCE and as the National Catholic Education Commission representative on the ACARA Curriculum Reference Group. She remains an active voice in education, regularly presenting at national and international conferences on curriculum innovation, and school improvement.

BMedia & Comm, BBus (Advertising), DipEd

Casey has served as Dean of Boarding at Nudgee College since 2022, after serving as Head of Cotter Boarding House. With experience across three respected boarding schools in Australia and France, he brings a broad perspective to residential education, having worked within all-boys, all-girls, and coeducational settings. Casey is committed to fostering a safe, structured, and supportive environment where young people can thrive. Living on campus with his family, he is deeply immersed in the boarding community, building strong relationships with students and families while ensuring Nudgee Boarding remains a genuine home away from home. 

BA, BEd, MEd (Educational Leadership)

Matt has served as Dean of Mission and Identity at Nudgee College since 2025, with more than 20 years' experience in education across Queensland schools, including Ambrose Treacy College, St Laurence's College, and Benowa State High School. Before joining Nudgee College, Matt held several leadership roles, including Dean of Faith and Mission, Assistant Dean of Students, and Head of Year. In his current role, he leads the College's mission, supporting retreats, liturgies, social justice initiatives, and students' spiritual growth within the Edmund Rice Tradition.

Dr Caroline Clancy is a General Practitioner with over 20 years of experience caring for patients across all stages of life. She and her husband Liam have four children, including two sons attending Nudgee College. She is active in her Chermside West parish and has a long-standing connection to Edmund Rice ministries through Edmund Rice Camps and related programs. Since joining the College Advisory Council in 2023 in the Formation portfolio, she has focused on student-centred decision-making. Caroline currently serves as Chair of the Advisory Council.

Matt Baxby joined the Nudgee College Advisory Council in 2022, contributing expertise in risk, compliance and governance. He has over 20 years’ experience across industries undergoing disruption and regulatory change, including 15 years in financial services. Matt is Partner and CEO for Australia and New Zealand at Revolut, leading expansion across the APAC region. He has also held senior roles at the Bank of Queensland and within the Virgin Group. He holds degrees from QUT and lives in Brisbane with his wife Eliza and four children. 

Randall Corless is a Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner at Marsh Tincknell, bringing over 40 years of experience, including 32 as Director. Specialising in business advisory, he guides leaders in strategy, governance, risk, taxation, and growth, while also chairing advisory boards. Randall holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a CA ANZ member. Deeply connected to St Joseph’s Nudgee College, he served on the Finance Committee and sent three sons there between 2012 and 2023. He lives with his wife, Madonna, and four children. 

Luke Ingham-Myers is a solicitor with over 25 years of experience. Before founding IM Lawyers, he served as in-house counsel at Suncorp and Allianz, and held senior corporate roles managing legal, risk, compliance, and employment functions. He now leads a general practice specialising in commercial law and personal injury, with expertise in institutional safeguarding frameworks.Educated in the Christian Brothers tradition, Luke boarded at Nudgee College, continuing a multi-generational family association. He also supports EREA schools through governance and sports coaching.

Michael Senior joined the Nudgee College Advisory Council in 2022, following a distinguished 40-year career in education with the Christian Brothers and EREA. His connection to Nudgee College began in 1980, where he spent 24 years serving as a teacher, sports coach, Head of Year, Head of Boarding, Deputy Principal, and Acting Principal. In 2004, Michael was appointed Principal of Nudgee Junior College, where he successfully oversaw its transition into Ambrose Treacy College, expanding Catholic education opportunities in Brisbane’s western corridor.

Geoff joined the Nudgee College Advisory Council in late 2024, supporting the Master Planning Committee during a period of major campus investment. He brings over 30 years of experience across transport, finance, and infrastructure, including senior roles at Virgin Australia. Currently Chief Financial Officer at the Port of Brisbane, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and professional qualifications in accounting and directorship. A St Columban’s graduate, Geoff and his wife Sally have three children, including a son at Nudgee College. 

Scott Thomson is a committed Catholic, husband to Janita, and father of four, with family central to his identity. Answering a strong calling to teaching during university, he has dedicated his life to education. As Principal of St Joseph’s Nudgee College, Scott brings authenticity, purpose, and passion to leadership. He focuses on the holistic development of students, encouraging young men to strive for excellence while remaining grounded in faith and service. Scott values contributing deeply to the ongoing story and vibrant community of Nudgee College.

Erin is Principal of Mary MacKillop College, Nundah, and brings extensive leadership experience across Catholic education. Having served in primary, secondary and P-12 settings, including boys’, girls’ and co-educational schools, she has also held system leadership roles with Brisbane Catholic Education and the Archdiocese of Brisbane, and was Lecturer in Charge at Australian Catholic University. As a former staff member, College Leadership Team member and parent at Nudgee College, Erin has a strong connection to the College and a deep understanding of our community. 

Hugh and Sarah, with their three children, own irrigation and dryland agricultural enterprises across north-western New South Wales and northern Western Australia. Their operations produce irrigated cotton and dryland wheat, barley, chickpeas, sorghum and canola. Based in Moree, they actively contribute to their local community, supporting charities, organisations and sporting clubs. Hugh serves on the board of Gwydir Industries, a not-for-profit supporting people with disabilities in the Moree Shire. He is passionate about Nudgee College’s opportunities and committed to strengthening profile and engagement with the community. 

Ainsley Pavey grew up in North Queensland, fostering a deep appreciation for nature and community. Educated by the Mercy and St Joseph Sisters, she was inspired to pursue writing and performance. The QUT graduate built a journalism career covering politics, courts, and major sporting events, including the Olympics. After training in acting at NIDA, she now leads a strategic communications business. As a mother of three boys, Ainsley is closely connected to EREA schools, including Nudgee College and St Patrick’s, and serves as Chair of the Communications and Sustainability Committee.
