Wes Denning (NCOB 2000) is a powerhouse in the television industry renowned for his expertise in developing, selling, and producing original content across Australia, the US, and beyond. You may remember him as a cast member on Big Brother in 2004 or as the host of the iconic Australian children’s television series Totally Wild.
Wes is currently serving as the Head of Global Formats at Eureka Productions where he oversees the production of hit shows such as Australian Idol (Seven Network), The Mole (Netflix), The Floor (Fox), and Stars On Mars (Fox). With a career defined by his innovative approach, and success in creating globally recognised television formats, Wes continues to shape the future of entertainment both locally and internationally.

My Nudgee Hero
The second series of Unscripted: The Nudgee College Podcast, titled My Nudgee Hero, shone a spotlight on a few of our many inspiring community members.
It showcased Nudgee students asking their heroes questions and delved into the lives of sporting legends, stories of resilience, philanthropic journeys and the exciting road to Brisbane 2032.
Ethan Bullemor
Ethan Bullemor (NCOB 2017) excelled at Nudgee, earning an OP 1 and Proxime Accessit. A 1st XV Vice Captain, he now plays NRL for Manly and works in finance while completing his Master’s degree.

Alex Clark (NCOB 2021) inspired the Nudgee community after a 2018 spinal injury during a GPS Rugby match. The 2019 ‘Blue for Alex’ event united thousands in a powerful show of courage and solidarity.
