At Nudgee, creativity takes many forms. Students are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence and discover how their individual talents can contribute to something bigger.

Performing Arts is an integral part of life at Nudgee College. Through music, performance, public speaking, writing, visual creativity, strategic competition and technical production, students are encouraged to discover their interests, develop their abilities and contribute meaningfully to the cultural life of the College.

Our program is designed to provide a place for every boy - whether he is stepping onto a stage for the first time, refining an established talent, representing the College in competition, contributing behind the scenes or simply exploring something new.

Supported by dedicated staff, specialist coaches, tutors, artists and industry professionals, students are provided with structured pathways from participation and development through to performance and excellence.

The Nudgee Performing Arts Philosophy

Our student-centred Performing Arts program supports the development of creative, confident and articulate young men. Students are encouraged to take creative risks, collaborate with others, pursue high standards and contribute their individual voices to the wider College community.

Our strategic philosophy is centred on four core pillars:
