Since its establishment in 1891, Nudgee College has been committed to providing access to Catholic education for all boys, regardless of individual family financial circumstances.
Each year, the College offers a limited number of means-tested bursaries to students who might otherwise be excluded for financial reasons. In addition to the bursary program, we also offer merit-based scholarships for academic excellence and achievement in the performing arts.
These bursaries are possible thanks to generous donors who support our Foundation, as well as the College’s commitment to continuing Edmund Rice's legacy.
All bursaries and scholarship offers remain confidential and are reviewed annually.
Explore the options on the website and ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before applying. Bursaries are for those experiencing genuine financial hardship and who would otherwise be unable to attend Nudgee College.
Bursary assistance is available only to Australian citizens or permanent residents in Years 7 to Year 10, subject to funding.
The College cannot provide bursaries and scholarships for all applications. The Bursary Committee will determine a priority list after reviewing the written applications received and conducting interviews.
If you meet the criteria, fill out this form to begin the process.
Please note that for all bursaries, you will be asked to provide detailed financial information during the application process to ensure that the limited bursaries are offered to those with genuine financial hardship.
After the application process, the Bursary and Scholarship Committee will decide which applicants can receive bursaries or scholarships and the level of support available. The Committee will provide the offer to the family to consider in April of the year before entry.
