Religious Life of the School

Students at St Joseph’s Nudgee College are provided with a holistic education. This allows them to grow in mind, body and spirit. In addition to our extensive curriculum and co-curricular offerings, Nudgee aspires to develop the core Catholic values of love, kindness and compassion in our students. We are in a privileged position to work alongside parents in preparing good, young men who can bring the Gospel to life through their words and actions. The Religious Life of Nudgee is evident in everything we do. From our 1st XV Rugby side saying the ‘Hail Mary’ before they run onto the field, to the proud singing of our College Song, ‘Sign of Faith,’ the faith life of Nudgee College is an integral element of our highly valued culture and spirit. All students engage with Religious Education as a subject within our extensive curriculum. The content of this course aligns with the direction of the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and ensures that lessons are contemporary and contextualised to allow each boy to contribute and understand.
