A Proud Rugby Tradition
With over 100 years in the GPS Competition, Nudgee Rugby is one of Queensland’s premier schoolboy rugby programs- producing 30 Wallabies, including three Australian Captains.
Each year, we field 40+ teams from Year 5-12, supported by 90+ coaches, including Level 2, 3 and 4 accredited staff and specialist coaches. All players are welcome in our Term 2 pre-season program, focused on skill, fitness, and game knowledge-delivered in a fun environment.
The Nudgee Way
What We Offer
Nudgee Rugby offers one of Queensland’s largest and most comprehensive schoolboy rugby programs, with more than 40 teams and 800 players across Years 5-12.
The program combines specialist coaching, athletic development, leadership opportunities, domestic and international tours, strong pathways into Premier Rugby, Super Rugby and the NRL, and dedicated support for player wellbeing. Our commitment extends to coach education through initiatives such as the annual Youth Rugby Coaches Forum, alongside comprehensive sports aid coverage for players.
