Sports Coaching (Cert II/III)
Leading Performance Through Sport and Leadership
The Sports Coaching pathway develops the knowledge, confidence and leadership skills required to inspire athletes and manage sporting environments. Through nationally recognised training, boys learn coaching techniques, session planning, athlete development and risk management. The course provides valuable pathways into sports science, coaching, fitness, community recreation and leadership roles across sporting organisations.
Senior Years (Year 11-12)
Coach, Lead and Inspire Future Athletes
Through practical coaching experiences and industry-aligned learning, students develop skills in athletic conditioning, program design, communication and safe sporting practices.
Boys lead training sessions, apply coaching strategies, manage sporting risks and build confidence working with participants. By combining practical assessment with theory, the course prepares students for further study and careers in coaching, fitness, and sports management.
