Senior Preparation (Year 10)
From Ideas to Real-World Prototypes
Year 10 Design introduces students to the complete design process, from researching user needs through to developing and presenting solutions.
Students learn drawing and ideation skills, digital design tools and work towards the creation of physical prototypes. Students learn the fundamentals of design and develop the creative and technical skills needed for senior design studies.
Senior Years (Year 11-12)
Designing for People, Purpose and the Future
Senior Design challenges students to develop innovative solutions through user-focused and sustainable design practices.
Boys work with complex briefs, explore service, environment and product design, and create professional design portfolios. Through research, prototyping and collaboration, students build the creative thinking and technical skills needed for future pathways in architecture, engineering and design industries.
