Engineering
Creating the Future Through Innovation and Design
Engineering challenges students to think creatively, solve meaningful problems and transform ideas into practical solutions. By combining science, technology and mathematics, boys develop the skills to design, prototype and refine innovations that address real-world challenges. Through hands-on learning, collaboration and creative problem-solving, students build the technical confidence and adaptability needed to shape the technologies of tomorrow.
Senior Preparation (Year 10)
Turning Ideas into Reality
Year 10 Engineering introduces students to the world of design, innovation and problem-solving through practical engineering challenges.
Boys explore mechanical, structural and civil engineering concepts by developing prototypes, testing solutions and refining their ideas. These experiences build creativity, technical skills and the confidence to approach complex challenges with an engineering mindset.
Senior Years (Year 10-12)
Creating Solutions Through Advanced Engineering
Senior Engineering provides students with the opportunity to explore advanced concepts in mechanics, materials, structures and emerging technologies.
Through design projects, investigations and prototype development, boys learn to analyse challenges, evaluate solutions and create innovative engineered solutions. The subject prepares students for future pathways in engineering, technology and other STEM-related fields where creativity and problem-solving drive progress.
