Middle Years (Year 7-9)
Finding Your Voice on Stage
Middle Years Drama introduces students to acting, improvisation, stagecraft and performance through engaging, hands-on experiences.
Boys explore storytelling using movement, voice and character while collaborating to create original performances and productions. Through creative challenges, students build confidence, teamwork and communication skills that extend well beyond the stage.
Senior Preparation (Year 10)
Exploring Performance and Creative Storytelling
Year 10 Drama expands students' understanding of theatrical performance through scriptwriting, play building and contemporary theatre styles.
Boys develop their skills as performers, creators and critics while exploring diverse stories and perspectives. Through rehearsals, performances and reflective analysis, students build the confidence and technical foundation required for senior Drama.
Senior Years (Year 11-12)
Creating Powerful Performances
Senior Drama challenges students to create, perform and analyse theatre that explores important ideas and human experiences.
Through a range of dramatic styles and production projects, boys refine their performance, directing and creative thinking skills while developing the confidence, collaboration and artistic insight needed for future study and careers in the performing arts.
