Year 12 2025 Results
I am delighted to update our community with the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) results* of our 2025 Seniors released today.
The 2025 Senior cohort should be commended for their academic achievements, and the College is proud of the 99% of students who attained their QCE.
This cohort has continued to build on our strong academic performance, achieving the highest results since ATAR calculations began in 2020. The 2025 cohort finished with a median score of 88.6 and a mean of 86.8.
We would like to acknowledge the significant achievements of the six students who achieved an ATAR of 99 or higher, and the 17 students who achieved an ATAR of 97 or higher. We send our special congratulations to College Dux, Lucian De Wet, who achieved a perfect ATAR score of 99.95.
We would like to congratulate the 16 students, including Lucian, who received an Academic Commendation Award from QCAA for 6 As in General subjects, and the five students who achieved a perfect subject score in one or more subjects.
Below is a breakdown of ATARs achieved as a percentage of the cohort within the specified range:
- 25.6% of boys achieved an ATAR above 95
- 43% of boys achieved an ATAR above 90
- 81% of boys achieved an ATAR above 80
- 91.7% of boys achieved an ATAR above 70
In addition to these strong ATAR results, 136 students were awarded one or more Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications as part of their QCE. Below is a breakdown of those VET qualifications:
- 12 boys engaged in a School-based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SAT)
- 1 boy achieving Certificate 1

The College congratulates our graduates who have chosen a vocational pathway, including apprenticeships, traineeships, and/or employment in 2026.
The 2025 College Dux, Subject Duces, and ATAR High Achievers will be acknowledged at the College Assembly on Tuesday, 10 February 2026. We wish each of the 2025 Seniors the very best for their immediate futures. Thank you to the Year 12 parents and caregivers for your dedication to your son’s education. Your guidance and support of these young men is critical to their success.
Wishing you and your family the blessings and joy of Christmas and the festive season.
Kind regards,
Scott Thomson (Principal)
*Result percentages are based on QTAC information available at the time of writing and on students who consented to share their ATAR. Students who will use a Diploma for direct entry into university have been excluded from the ATAR calculations.
