Nudgee College

Tennis

Nudgee College has over 100 years of tennis tradition in the GPS competition, and provides students with the resources they need to perform at the highest level. With 12 championship size courts, fully equipped weight room and multiple off court training facilities on campus, our players have the opportunity to progress technically, physically and mentally while also enjoying the spirit and camaraderie of representing Nudgee athletics.

With 130 boys competing throughout the Term 2 in GPS team competition, players of all levels have the opportunity to participate in  Singles and Doubles matches against other schools in weekly fixtures. The size and depth of Nudgee tennis allows for a dynamic and challenging atmosphere, but also features a competitive environment where players have the chance to train with teammates above and below their level and with a variety of playing styles.

Nudgee College has a full time Tennis Director and Head Coach on staff, plus multiple assistant coaches which allows Tennis to have an extensive all year round program that encourages boys from the Beginner to High Performance levels to train weekly through squad sessions, fixtures and private lessons as well as off court strength and conditioning small group training sessions.

Individual high performance player pathways can be specifically tailored for our national level student-athlete with both on and off court training, state and national level tournament scheduling as well as team tournament trips.
