Debating

In Term 1, Nudgee College's whip-smart orators spend their Friday nights delivering thought-provoking and nuanced arguments during the GPS Debating season. Throughout the year, the College also enters teams of debators in Queensland Debating Union (QDU) competitions. With weekly coaching sessions, intensive workshops, QDU qualified coaching staff and adjudicators, as well as mentoring by Old Boy debaters, the College's Debating Program helps students develop confidence, critical thinking skills and public speaking capabilities in a supportive and competitive environment.
