New Principal Announcement

Dear Nudgee College Community, 

Today marks a significant day for the Nudgee College community.  I am pleased to announce that Mr Scott Thomson has been appointed as the 26th Principal of St Joseph's Nudgee College.  Scott started at the College in January as Deputy Principal and I believe this appointment is a testament to the positive impact that he has had on the College since his commencement.

From my perspective, Scott is well placed to confidently lead the College into the future.  Over the coming weeks and months we will work together to ensure a very smooth transition in 2024.

I extend my personal congratulations to Scott and my best wishes to him and his family on this significant appointment. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Scott addressed the staff and student body this morning: 

“I came here only at the start of this year and I felt the warmth and welcome of this community and l look forward to continuing on the path and journey with you all.”

“At the start of the year one of my main goals was to be known and get to know all of you, the staff, the families, with the students at the centre and in assuming this role as Principal, that will continue. I look forward to moving into 2024 in this role and progressing Nudgee to continue to be the fine institution that it is.”
