St Joseph’s Nudgee College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of Religion (with a possibility of teaching Study of Religion or Religion and Ethics) to join our Learning and Teaching team in a permanent, full-time role commencing 27 January 2026. The Role

As a member of our Religious Education Faculty, you will:

  • Teach Religious Education classes across a range of year levels
  • Create engaging, inclusive, and thought-provoking learning experiences
  • Integrate Catholic values and contemporary perspectives within your teaching
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and meaningful curriculum initiatives
  • Support students pastorally and academically within a strong community of care
  • Actively contribute to the co-curricular and faith life of the College

  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • Demonstrated excellence in curriculum delivery and student engagement
