Did you know that as a registered charity, donations to the Nudgee College Foundation are tax deductible? Supporting Nudgee College and the Foundation, as an individual or a business, allows you to boost your tax return and help the Foundation continue on its mission to secure our future as a world-class leading Catholic Boys’ boarding school.

Our 2024 End of Financial Year Appeal is raising vital funds for the Jack Ross Bursary. There are thousands of deserving young men for whom a Nudgee education could be life changing. With your help and generosity, we are able to offer this privilege to a few of these young men each year through this bursary. We rely entirely on the support of the community for this, and the more support we receive, the more lives you are helping us to change for the better.

The Jack Ross Bursary is strictly a needs-based bursary and is awarded to boys whose families have suffered financial misfortune.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

For any enquiries, please contact Head of Philanthropy, Ms Lindsay Khushal, lkhushal@nudgee.qld.edu.au or by telephone 07 3865 0313.

What and when is the 2024 Nudgee College Foundation EOFY Appeal?

The 2024 end of financial year appeal is run by the Nudgee College Foundation.

As you reach the end of the 2023/2024 financial year, you may be considering charitable organisations that you would like to support personally or via your business. As members of the Nudgee College community you may choose to show this support to Nudgee College and the Foundation, allowing you to boost your tax return and help the Foundation continue on its mission to secure our future as a world-class leading Catholic Boys’ boarding school.

How do I make a donation?

You can give to the appeal anytime in June in support of the Jack Ross Bursary. Simply click on the donate now button and you will be taken to our payment portal. You will receive an immediate tax receipt upon donating.

Can I give by bank transfer or cheque?

In addition to credit card payments, the following options are also available when making your donation:

Bank Transfer or Cash Deposit: Please contact our Head of Philanthropy, Ms Lindsay Khushal, lkhushal@nudgee.qld.edu.au or by telephone 07 3865 0313 for bank account information to enable a bank transfer or cash deposit.

Using the above methods for donation, you will still be issued with a tax receipt.

How will donations be acknowledged and can I make a donation on behalf of someone else?

When you donate through the portal, you will be asked whether you would like your donation acknowledged by name (or a family name of their choice, on behalf of an organisation, in memoriam or tribute of someone else). However, you can also opt to remain anonymous.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. Donations of $2 or more may be claimed as tax deductions.

Donors will receive a tax receipt at the time of payment.
