Over the school holidays, St Joseph’s Nudgee College Year 12 students Jacob Elordi and Liam Riordan are starring in two separate Brisbane theatre productions. Head of Drama Ms Alison Crilly says this is an outstanding achievement for the students.

"Jacob and Liam are talented Drama students who are gaining fantastic industry experience," Ms Crilly said.

"To be getting cast in productions of this calibre, and for Liam to have written his own play, are definitely a wonderful achievements and the College is extremely proud."

Jacob is starring in the Queensland Theatre Company’s production The Land Mine is Me by David Burton and Claire Christian, performed by the Senior Youth Ensemble. Jacob gained a position in this ensemble after auditioning at the end of 2014. He has been attending weekly workshops alongside other high school students as part of this program.

Liam has written a play called Us vs Them which is showing at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts. Liam is working alongside Timothy McGowan (NCOB 2014) with his theatre company Breach 7 Theatre Company.
