Today was a very special day in the Nudgee College calender - the Senior Farewell.
The day began with House Assemblies, allowing younger boys from their House a chance to say a personal goodbye.
The Seniors were then asked to gather in the Chapel for their last liturgy there as students.
This was followed by a special ritual where they gather around the Treacy Building rose garden and say a prayer with beloved College icon Br Vic Larkin.
They were then led through a guard of honour formed by staff, students, and families to their final Assembly in the Christian Brothers' Conference Centre. This was a long process, with many hugs, hand shakes and high fives being given along the way.
While this was their last day of structured school, the boys still have a week of exams to go before their final Valedictory Mass and Dinner celebration on Thursday 16 November.
We wish all the boys luck over the next week as they study and sit their final exams.
