On Wednesday 30 May, the Nudgee College Cross Country team travelled to Limestone Park at Ipswich to contest the GPS Championships. The Junior team kicked things off with a bang, with the 10, 11 and 12 Years teams finishing in second, first and first place respectively to claim the title.

Junior GPS Squad Coordinator Mr Anthony Steele said the boys raced with tremendous courage, determination and grit.

"They should all be extremely proud of their efforts and be content knowing their hard work paid off," he said.

The Senior team contested their race next. Despite dealing with several injuries and setbacks, the boys dug deep and managed to finish a commendable fifth place.

Congratulations to all Cross Country runners on their efforts during the season!
