Over the past week, over 250 Year 10 students and 35 teachers have taken part in the College’s Immersion Program.
The students’ Immersions have involved them engaging with various organisations, including Youngcare, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital, the Starlight Foundation and the Pyjama Foundation, among others. Several students have also travelled to the Philippines or Buru.
The Immersion Program is an important part of what it means to be a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition, in which we are called to stand in solidarity with the marginalised, and the Earth itself.
Student reflections will be featured on the website upon their return.
