The Leonardo Da Vinci Award

The Leonardo Da Vinci Award is awarded to one Year 8 student from each House each term. The criteria for this award includes:
Creativity and Ingenuity
- The student has completed all of the tasks set in class in an original and creative manner.
- His creativity and ingenuity has become evident in general classroom discussions and everyday activities.
Determination
- The student has worked above and beyond the call of duty.
- He has not only completed set tasks, but has also gone out of his way to do extra study.
- He has shown great determination to succeed academically.
Attitude
- The student has displayed a positive attitude at all times.
- He has been an enthusiastic participant in class and discussions.
- He has been a polite, courteous and helpful member of class.
This prestigious award has been granted to many great Nudgee College gentlemen, who may not necessarily be the very highest academic achievers in the class, but are certainly of the highest character.
Winners are awarded a certificate and enjoy a special "treat" which varies from term to term, and according to popular demand.
