An Important Announcement regarding Head of the River Regatta
Due to the weather conditions tomorrow's regatta has changed.
At 6:00am the Boat race officials will determine if it is safe to row. If it is, the order of events will be as follows:
- At 8:00 - the 1st VIII will race
- At 8:05 - the 2nd VIII will race
- At 8:10 - the 3rd VIII will race
At 5:15am, Mitch will depart from school (Tierney) with the Opens only!
At 6:30am, a Brisbane Bus Lines Bus will depart from school with ALL Year 10 and 11 rowers (this is compulsory to attend, absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS! Mr Greg Thorne will be there to supervise this).
If the regatta is cancelled then all rowers will come back to the shed to unload and go for a row on the river (there is a high possibility that those that don't race will be rescheduled for another day, we need to be ready).
THE DINNER WILL GO AHEAD AS PLANNED - We will as normal be celebrating a great SEASON not a SINGLE DAY!
