Since Australian Rules Football began at Nudgee College in 1998, the College has won ten premierships:
· 1st XVIII (2000, ‘06, ‘07, ‘08)
· 2nd XVIII (2002, ‘03, ‘07)
· 3rd XVIII (2006)
· Under 15 (2005)
· Under 13 (2008)
In 2009, the College maintained its position as one of the top schools in the Independent Schools competition with all seven teams making the Semi Finals and Nudgee College contesting three of the four Division 1 Grand Finals.
With four Open teams in 2009, there is no doubt of the increasing popularity of this great Australian game at Nudgee College.
Old Boys who have gone on to play in the AFL include Jason Akermanis and Jaime Charman.
