July 16, 2008
St Joseph's Nudgee College will feature on this week's episode of the International Rugby Board's (IRB) worldwide rugby show Total Rugby on Foxtel.
The episode, which screens on Fox Sports 1 on Thursday 17 July at 9:30pm and repeats on Saturday 19 July at 10am, covers a Home Game at Nudgee College and includes interviews with former Wallaby Ross Hanley, current Nudgee First XV Co-Coach Todd Dammers, and some current First XV players.

IRB initiated the program after Total Rugby interviewed current Wallaby and Nudgee Old Boy Rocky Elsom. Rocky emphasised his time at Nudgee had prepared him well for his career as a professional footballer.
Rocky's fondness for Nudgee recently saw him back at the College prior to the Wallabies vs France Test on Saturday 5 July. Rocky and a number of his Wallaby teammates were special guests at the Queensland Junior Rugby State Championships held at the College from July 2-5.
Nudgee's reputation for producing quality rugby players is well-known. This tradition continues with six current Nudgee players selected in the Queensland schools teams that competed at the recent Australian Rugby Schools National Competition in Canberra.
Dominic Shipperley, Stefano Hunt and Nicky Price were in the Queensland Schools 1 Team and Sam Grasso, Ted Postal and Matthew Mafi were members of the Queensland Schools 2 team.
Four of these players were then selected in the Australian Schools and Australian Schools A teams.
Nicky Price and Dom Shipperley were selected in the Australian Schools team, who will play a Test against Fiji U18 as a curtain raiser to the Bledisloe Cup match at Suncorp Stadium on September 13.
Stefano Hunt and Matthew Mafi were selected in the Australian Schools A squad who will play Fiji on Saturday September 6 in Sydney. They will be coached by current First XV co-coach Mr Craig Morrison who is the 2008 Australian Schools A coach.
