Parents can now register online their sons and themselves for the June/July Red Centre Safari organised through the Nudgee Adventurers Club (NAC).
There are spots open for 18 students and parents. Parents can register for the Safari via the Parent Portal.
Red Centre Safari Tour Leader Brian O'Reilly said the 20-day, 6500-plus kilometre safari was planned carefully so students could visit all major attractions of Far West Queensland, the East and West MacDonald Ranges, Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Uluru.
"We will visit many spectacular National Parks plus some little-visited areas such the Finke River and Boggy Hole. Our return journey will be over the magnificent Simpson Desert traveling west to East into Birdsville," Mr O'Reilly said.
Parents and students can view more information, including costs and a full itinerary, in the Red Centre Safari section under the Activities menu in their respective Portals.

The Nudgee Adventurers Club is a strictly non-profit organisation that aims to enhance the education of Nudgee students in a practical way. No person connected with this club or any other NAB safari receives any monetary award.
