Do you have a story about rugby games at St Joseph’s Nudgee College? If so we want to know about them!
Later this year, Nudgee College will publish a book on the history of Nudgee College Rugby. The book’s launch will coincide with the 90th anniversary of Nudgee College winning its very first GPS Premiership and the 120th anniversary of the College in 2011.
The book will be a factual collection of data and scores combined with entertaining anecdotes and special moments from the College’s earliest days to the present.
Recollections of what happened on Ross Oval, reliving a last minute victory on The Flats, tales of someone from the 5ths who made the big time, are events never to be forgotten.
These legendary occasions are retold at length when Old Boys gets together. Nudgee College wants to collect these stories and information, from all levels of the rugby experience, so we can write an accurate and entertaining history of Nudgee College Rugby.
Stories can be submitted about great grandfathers, grandfathers, uncles, mates - no matter how dubious or coloured by romantic recall.
