How to Enter

Please read the Conditions of Entry carefully, as there will be no refunds for works incorrectly labeled or submitted. There is a $25 administration fee for each work entered and it is non refundable. Please complete the entry form and email the following pre-section material.

  • Artist Statement of each work (50 words max.)
  • Artist Bio (50 words max.)
  • Photograph of each entry. 3 images for Three Dimensional works. (1MB – 5MB)

The entry form together with all entry fees, pre-selection material and a statement by a supplier (www.ato.gov.au) must be returned to:

Entries Close

Entries must be received by the College by Friday July 20 2012.

Conditions of Entry

  1. Entries must be original work of entrant (not copied) and been completed in the last 2 years.
  2. All entries must have not previously won a prize.
  3. The Registration/Entry Form must be completed, signed and returned to Nudgee College by the required date. Late entries can not be accepted and entry fee must accompany the form.
  4. Each item must be clearly marked with title, medium, Artist’s name, sale price & category.
  5. Labels or tags must be used for sculptures/ceramic items.
  6. All exhibits must be ready for display, suitably framed (Stretch canvas is acceptable). Do not use single strand brass wire, fishing line or loose staples.
  7. All exhibits must be for sale with 25% commission retained on all sales. (Payments of sales will be made within 6 weeks of close of exhibition).
  8. Maximum of 3 exhibits per Artist.
  9. All exhibits will be judged. The judge’s decision is final with no disputes entered into.
  10. The Cultural Events Committee reserves the right to withdraw entries not complying with section criteria & or conditions.
  11. Sculpture/Ceramic Art must be of manageable size and stability and no bigger than 1.5m³
  12. Entries cannot be removed during the exhibition.
  13. Exhibits must not be any larger than 1.5m by 1.5m (including diptych or triptych)
  14. Entrants agree to permit St Joseph’s Nudgee College Cultural Events Committee to reproduce their work for exhibition promotional purposes only.
  15. The Cultural Events Committee will exercise ALL DUE CARE in relation to the exhibits but
    cannot accept responsibility/liability for any loss or damage, either in custody or transit. Nor will St Joseph’s Nudgee College Cultural Events Committee incur any expense regarding packaging or transportation of the exhibits. Insurance of exhibits is the entrant’s responsibility.

Unsold & purchased work must be collected. Work that is not collected will be disposed of at the discretion of St Joseph’s Nudgee College Cultural Events Committee.
