About the DimensionsNC Art Festival

The St Joseph's Nudgee College DimensionsNC Art Festival is an expose of talent of original works from local artists and the creative and innovative work of Nudgee’s own very talented visual art students.

Feature Artist - Leigh Camilleri

Leigh is a Brisbane artist, drawn to the juxtaposition of shapes and bold colours of the environment. Her work uses observational processes to consider and explore the changing local environment this includes the observation of the lives of others. Leigh focuses on combining the exploration of surroundings and memories, developing the images; creating impressions that are not photographic representations, but fleeting, subjective views of life.

Judge - Margaret Campbell-Ryder,

Ms Margaret Campbell-Ryder of the Red Hill Gallery, Brisbane is the judge this year’s DimensionsNC Art Festival. Born in Bendigo, Victoria, Ms Campbell Ryder has lived in Brisbane since the early 1970’s and has been the owner-director of the Red Hill Gallery & Emporium Art Galleries since 1998. Prior to her career as a gallery owner and art dealer, Ms Campbell-Ryder held a range of positions in the Australian fashion industry, including Fashion Buyer for the Sportsgirl Retail Fashion Group. She has also served on a number of professional committees, such as the Brisbane City Heart Business Association and the Australia Day Council (QLD). A firm advocate of the arts and its place in vibrant cities like Brisbane and within the education of the young, such as the arts program at St Joseph’s College Nudgee, it is a pleasure to have Margaret as our judge for the 2010 Nudgee Arts Festival.
