Mrs Maggie Shaw enjoyed a 36 year association with Nudgee College, her years of service spanning 1962–1998. Maggie’s sincerity, gracious spirit and infectious enthusiasm meant she developed very close and warm relationships with students, parents and staff. Originally employed in a part-time position, with the growth of the College and staff, she became the first Principal's Secretary and eventually College Registrar.
Maggie served with six Christian Brother Principals and one lay Acting Principal. She has always had a great love and admiration for the Christian Brothers, and many Brothers, Old Boys, parents and staff have indelible memories of Maggie Shaw that will ensure her wonderful contribution to the College will not be forgotten.
