Nudgee College's Music program provides students with professional education for instruments such as:

- Clarinet
- Voice
- Drums
All Music teachers are professionally qualified, highly experienced and able to provide weekly tuition on an instrument of a student's choice. Nudgee College provides Music theory classes so students can read, write, compose and analyse music, which is useful for students wishing to study music at a university level.
The College also encourages all instrumental students to participate in one of the major bands or ensembles, including:

- Rock Bands
- The Brass Ensemble
- The Liturgy Choir
Prominent musicians from Nudgee College include:
- Richard Mills, AO - One of Australia's eminent conductors and composers, West Australian Opera Artistic Director and Orchestra Victoria Artistic Consultant.
- John Curro, AO - Queensland Youth Orchestras founder, director and conductor.
- Ron Grainer - Film and television composer, noted for composing the Doctor Who theme. Other works include:
