The Opening Night Celebration Gala has a growing reputation as one of the premiere events on the Nudgee College calendar and this year is sure to please.

The recently refurbished Tierney Auditorium is transformed into an exciting gallery space that provides the platform to showcase artwork from both our students and the local community. Explore the surroundings, view the works and dance the evening away.

This year the Cultural Events Committee have made significant changes to the event. These changes will make the celebrations more accessible to the wider community and will also showcase both the artistic and musical talents of our Nudgee gentlemen.

Our very own NC Voices and the NC Show Band will be joining our wonderfully talented Rock Bands as part of the evening entertainment. We also have performing the renowned Conservatoriums Jarger String Quartet to offer guests a full program of incredible talent and beautiful music.

The ticket price has been lowered to $55 per person and is  all inclusive of; entertainment, great food, champagne, beer, wine and soft drink and much more.

JARGER STRING QUARTET
Formed during 2005, Jarger String Quartet features Queensland Conservatorium graduates Sally-Ann Djachenko (Violin), Megan Waters (Violin), Teena Magrath (Viola) and Amy Tucker (Cello). Each member of the quartet has more than 15 years of performance experience. This professional and dynamic ensemble has performed for many private and corporate clients and features a diverse repertoire from the timeless classical and popular tunes to musical and jazz and ragtime favourites.
